As Bobby Chiu would say...practice, practice..and...more practice.
A little about myself: I was born in Sao Paulo (Brazil) and last year- finally- I got my immigration visa to Canada (what a lovely country...I wish I was born here!!!!). Since then I've been working hard to live my dream -guess what...yep...Concept Art!....LOTS of paper sheets on my desk as well as used pens.
So far, so good. I got a really amazing job in Toronto that will allow me to begin my studies (I'm saving to get a Intuos4 Medium hopefully next week....if perhaps some human being is reading this blog and have some advice about the size of the tablet I would love to hear as I've never had a tablet before and I'll be working on a 13" laptop).
Internet has been an amazing tool to learn- so many talented artists and amazing images!, and next month I'll be able to take the Digital Painting course from Schoolism (thanks again Bob!)...I'm really thrilled to begin the course and I'll be posting here my progress.
Well...enough talk...some sketches below -as I said before I'm starting to draw so I guess that around 90% of what you see here now is something that already exists (thank you for all the artists around the world that have a website!)...I just draw it again..and again...and a again..to learn how the shape works, how the shadow works,the flow, rhythm etc....I kind of hate to look at old drawings...it's embarrassing....well...whatever.
